Founder and master trainer of CMA Singapore, Mr Tay Shy Ching graduated from the Oklahoma State University (USA) with a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management. He was conferred Lifetime Member of the Alpha Pi Mu National Honour Society and was awarded scholarship to pursue a Master Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management with a major in Statistical Quality Control by his alma mater.
Shy Ching was a teaching and research assistant at the Oklahoma State University and was actively involved in early childhood education even as a student. He set up a dance class to help children develop their cognitive and motor skills whilst being a speech and drama instructor at Stillwater Chinese Primary School in Oklahoma. He was, for many years, the title holder of the winner and organiser of the university’s International Cultural Night Contests.

Having had an early acquaintance with the abacus and mental arithmetic, Ms Chen Ching has established a strong mathematical foundation from a tender age and recognises its many developmental benefits. She holds a Master Degree in Statistics from the Oklahoma State University (USA) and graduated with First Class Honour in Industrial Engineering and Management from Tung Hai University in Taiwan. The Kao Hsiung native was admitted as a lifetime member of National Statistical Honour Society in the States for her outstanding performance.
While studying in the US, Ms Chen Ching taught Mandarin at Stillwater Chinese Primary School in the Oklahoma state. She was highly popular amongst her students because of her affable personality and diligence in teaching.
Ms Chen Ching relocated to Singapore shortly after her marriage and was actively involved as a tutor and counsellor in student care and educational centres before setting up CMA Singapore with her husband, Mr Tay Shy Ching. She is currently the chief trainer of CMA Singapore.
